Meibography is a specialized imaging diagnostic used to evaluate the meibomian glands — the tiny oil-producing glands along the eyelid margin that are critical to healthy tear film and dry eye prevention.
This diagnostic is specifically used to support dry eye treatment planning — it is not a treatment itself.
Using infrared imaging, Meibography allows your provider to:
